Returns Guide - Postage
When should I return my hire?
Your hire must be posted back by 4pm on the next business day after your hire end date, using the prepaid return satchel provided.
This is important because returns lodged after 4pm may not enter the Australia Post network until the following business day, which can impact upcoming bookings. Where possible, we recommend posting your return by 3:30pm to ensure the 4pm cutoff isn’t missed.
Examples:
If your hire end date falls on a Saturday or Sunday, posting it back on Monday by 4pm is perfect.
If your hire end date falls on a business day (Mon–Fri), your return is due that same business day by 4pm.
Please note: Most Australia Post outlets are not open on weekends, and we do not accept returns via street posting boxes.
How to Return Your Hire — Step by Step
1. Keep your prepaid return satchel
Your prepaid return satchel is included in the bottom of your parcel. Please hold onto this, as it must be used to return your hire.
2. Pack your hire securely
Place the garment into the prepaid return satchel provided and seal it using the adhesive strip. You don't need to dry clean the garment or purchase any additional postage. You’re also welcome to reuse or recycle the cardboard box your hire arrived to you in - we don’t need it back!
3. Return over the counter at Australia Post
Take the prepaid satchel to your nearest Australia Post outlet and hand it over the counter by 4pm on the next business day.
Important: Please do not use street posting boxes, as this causes delays.
4. Keep your lodgement receipt
We strongly recommend keeping your lodgement receipt as proof of postage.
