Are Kae Rentals (formerly RK Rentals) was founded in 2018 when girls started showing interest in hiring my personal formal dresses for their own special occasions. As interest grew, I realised there was a gap in the dress rental space for unique pieces that weren't all from the same popular brands.

From there I started curating a collection of pieces that I genuinely loved - pieces a little different from the the rapidly changing trends. We understand how much it means to show up to an event in something that feels special, not just whatever everyone else is wearing. That feeling is what our whole collection is built around.

What kicked off with girls trying on dresses in my bathroom has grown into something we're really proud of. We're a small team, and we've put a lot of love into building a studio space in Kew that feels as beautiful as the pieces in it.

We hire Australia-wide, so no matter where you are, finding something you love shouldn't be out of reach. But whether you visit us in studio or hire from the other side of the country, the goal is always the same - to make you feel amazing for those special occasions.
